CONNIE'S GIG IN SACRAMENTO!

Boating in Colfax, CA on Rollins Lake, Outside of Sacramento

Hi everybody, from SACRAMENTO! It's HARD to leave Santa Barbara...the beauty and the weather, and it's EASY to leave Santa Barbara, the high cost of living, the fake pretentiousness,... the ETERNAL EXCESSIVE SPANISH TILE ROOFS!...It got so bad I was seeing them on everything in my sleep. What does that kind of a dream mean?? Santa Barbara always seemed to me like one HUGE homeowners association. I'm not kidding, EVERY building is required to have the same spanish tile roof design by city mandate. I'm surprised they don't make it mandatory that everyone wear SOMBREROS. It's sooo expensive in Santa Barbara! Tourists can't even FIND the Motel 6 because they can't AFFORD to "leave the light on for you"! You go to Mass at The Santa Barbara Mission and they have a door charge!... With a lousy band! Even the Eucharist has a TWO DRINK MINIMUM!!
OK, about what I'm up to lately, I've resumed production of the TV show here at Access Sacramento Channel 17. In addition, I'm gigging as a musician/entertainer playing Classic Rock and Country covers, my originals and my funny song parodies (listen to a demo on the home page).
